We are seeking a full time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a child in Key stage 1 at our school. The child is academically capable and in need of some extra support to engage with ‘Lessons and flourish at school.’ The role will involve helping the child stay on task, supporting learning as needed, helping the child to regulate as needed, including stepping out of the classroom for movement breaks. Support the start of the school day when the child needs someone who can make a connection and support the transition into the classroom. The child is very capable of completing class work, but needs extra support to engage with the teaching.

Essential Criteria

  • Have the right to work in the UK

  • Have experience working with neurodivergent children
  • Have experience with demand avoidance
