We have a wonderful opportunity to work as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) as part of our friendly and very capable special educational needs (SEND) and pastoral team. The role will provide learning support to individuals and groups of students, with a particular focus on supporting a student with visual impairment. It is essential that the successful candidate has the ability to modify lesson resources using IT and can complete other routine record keeping and admin. The post will suit someone with a friendly and supportive disposition and with a real commitment to providing the best possible support for young people, and an enthusiasm to develop SEND knowledge and expertise. The girls are a real privilege and joy to work with!

Within the Challoner’s High community you will experience:

  • A great place to work with excellent facilities and IT resources and lots of purposeful and community-minded people around you (unlike working from home!)
  • Use of staff gym; free staff yoga and fitness classes on site; staff discounts at local shops and restaurants in Little Chalfont, local theatres discounts when available, two-week October half term
  • Onsite counsellor; free flu jabs; some free food
  • Membership of Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Qualified daughters of staff are given priority in the schools over subscription criteria after 2 or more years’ service
  • Excellent train links to London (on the Metropolitan line)
