The Role
Sutton High School is seeking an experienced Learning Assistant to support a senior school pupil as part of their Education and Health Care Plan.
Providing individual attention, reassurance and help, you will encourage the pupil to achieve their full potential, ensuring they are appropriately supported in their social interactions, learning and readiness for school.
You will be expected to provide support across different subjects and will have confident English and Maths skills to be able to support this high-ability pupil.
You will also provide support to students working in our Neurodiversity Hub.
With a recognised TA qualification i.e. NVQ, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent relevant experience in an educational setting, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to listen, empathise and build strong, positive relationships with children and staff alike.
You will be joining a team of four Learning Assistants in our Senior School Neurodiversity Team, based in our Neurodiversity Hub.
