About the Role

The position of Criminology, Law, and Public Service Lecturer at Waltham Forest College offers a dynamic and impactful opportunity for those passionate about teaching and committed to student success. As a Lecturer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journeys of our Law and Criminology students, helping them achieve their full potential regardless of their background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Design and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging applied general BTEC and WJEC courses in Law, Criminology, and Public Services.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback in a timely manner to support their academic progress.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Student Support: Address the diverse needs of our students, ensuring each has the opportunity to succeed.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and monitor student progress through regular one-to-one meetings, offering personalised guidance and support.
