We are looking for an experienced Lecturer to contribute to the English teaching team at Solihull College & University Centre. Covering a period of maternity leave, the successful applicant will deliver high quality English teaching to students of all ages on GCSE and Functional Skills programmes, as part of the College’s journey to outstanding.
The role will be based across our Blossomfield and/or Stratford campuses.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and passionate teacher of English with a proven track record of having a positive impact on young people. As a team, we are working with external agencies to support the introduction and development of teaching for mastery.
The ideal candidate will:
• Be committed to delivering exceptional standards of teaching and learning
• Be able to motivate, challenge and inspire students to achieve their best
• Be able to establish and develop outstanding relationships with students and staff
In addition to teaching experience in Further Education, this role would be suitable for teachers with experience of delivering English to pupils from years 5 to 11.
For the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
