Who we need
We are looking for a lecturer for specific delivery to SLDD/SEND students and who has experience of teaching, learning and assessment within a further educational setting. Also, have knowledge and understanding of working within the SEND environment. You will be dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative to join our outstanding faculty. The successful applicant will be able to deliver accredited employability qualifications at Entry 3 and Level 1, including Maths & English. You will be professional, responsible and confident lecturer who has the skills to inspire both students and colleagues alike, and the ability to innovatively create and deliver and achieve for our young people.
What you’ll bring
With previous experience of teaching, you’ll have a practical, but creative approach that generates outstanding lessons that fully engage and inspire students, with ability to create innovative methods of learning that will support students' employability and prepare them for progression to higher level learning or employment.
For this role we are looking for people who:
· Have experience in further education setting and passionate about teaching in FE sector
· Able to create and deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment
· Are committed to ensuring all our students make the best progress possible
· Are able to work in a demanding and changing environment

New College Nottingham is a mixed, selective, non-denominational general further education college situated in Nottingham. It is a 16 plus with five different sites in the centre of Nottingham. The latest Ofsted report identified 14,029 learners at the school, between the ages of 16-19, studying a range of academic and vocational courses.
The college was established in 1998 through a merger of smaller educational centres in the Nottingham area. Further merging has happened, most recently early in 2017, when the college merged together with Central College Nottingham.
