Job overview

The Trust is seeking to appoint two outstanding and experienced Teaching Assistants to join a high achieving, successful and forward-looking team of staff.

The Learning Support team work to support our students who have additional physical and personal care needs. We have a larger than average number of students with SEND and Educational Health Care Plans compared to other Nottingham City schools. However, we have an established reputation of providing high quality care to all the students who require it.

The team also includes the SENDCo, Level 1 & 2 Teaching Assistants and a SEND Administrator. The Learning Support Base has its own suite of rooms in order to support students with their additional needs including a Health and Hygiene Suite and further areas for physiotherapy.

Candidates should pay attention to the job description/person specification and explain within their application how they meet the criteria, whilst also describing what they will bring to the post from their own knowledge and experience.

The role will be based at Bluecoat Beechdale Academy but the post holders may at any time be required to support or work at any of the sites within Archway Learning Trust.
