We aim to appreciate the contribution of all within our community and we place great emphasis on mutual respect. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and outstanding Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
Successful candidates must demonstrate how they meet the requirements of the job description and person specification, within their supporting statement.
Successful candidates will:
- Have relevant qualifications and training (acceptable qualification are listed below);
- Demonstrate emotional resilience and confidence during challenging situations;
- Have experience of working with children and young people with Behavioural, Emotional and Social needs and pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and ADHD;
- Have an enthusiastic, imaginative and caring approach to all children;
- Be able to work as part of a team, building positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, colleagues and other professionals;
- Have good Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills;
- Have high expectations of pupils achievements regarding learning, independence and behaviour;
- Be able to show initiative and be prepared to take responsibility for delivering programs to individual and small groups of pupils as required.
- Be able to engage pupils in lesson times and in unstructured times, including the pupil’s lunch hour.

We expect you to have good literacy and numeracy skills and have previous experience of, and success in, raising the attainment of children across Key Stage 1 and 2.
The closing date for applications is 09:00am on Thursday 28th November 2024. Interviews are scheduled to take place on Thursday 5th December 2024.
Working hours are 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 8:30am to 5:00pm on Wednesday. Salary bracket Grade E point 12-19 pro rata as position is term time only.
