Job overview

Lunchtime Supervisor

We are seeking two caring and proactive Lunchtime Supervisors to join our Prep School team. Duties include supervision of pupils over the lunchtime period, helping to manage lunchtime routines, promoting good behaviour and administering basic first aid as required.

The successful candidates will be kind, caring and personable with good social skills. Recent experience of working with children and Paediatric first-aid training would be an advantage but not essential; most importantly you will be motivated to work with young children and willing to attend first training as needed.

Hours: This is a term-time only role working from 12.00 to 1.20 pm. Whilst the role is Monday to Friday, we welcome applications from candidates that may only wish to work part of the week.

Salary: £4,171 per annum (£12.00 per hour) (pay award pending)

The school offers membership of a competitive contributory pension scheme which includes employer contributions of 10% and death in service benefit.

Additional Benefits: Free onsite parking, use of the school gym and heated swimming pool (at designated times) and access to free fitness classes are all included.

Starting date: As soon as possible

Closing date: Monday 4 November (9.00 am)

Interviews: Monday 11 November

Suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date and the school reserves the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made. Applicants are therefore encouraged to apply early.

Badminton School has an inclusive culture that promotes, values and celebrates the diverse voice of our community. We have a strong commitment as an equal opportunities employer and encourage applications from all candidates.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
