MANDARIN SUBJECT LEADER (with a TLR)

We are looking to appoint Mandarin Subject Leader to join our high achieving Languages Faculty. The position comes with a responsibility point to lead the course. We are part of the Mandarin Excellence Programme for schools and Mandarin is delivered up to a GCSE level. The students receive four hours of lessons each week. In addition, students complete self-study each week and have an opportunity to take part in an intensive study courses in China as well as a variety of cultural events. The position can also be offered on a part-time basis.

Located on the Old Street Silicon Roundabout and at the heart of the Tech City, the School is a high performing comprehensive. In 2023, our Progress 8 was 0.55. The student outcomes within the department have been consistently outstanding and PE is also a popular GCSE option.
