An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join the team as a full time and inspirational Maths teacher to work within our already successful department.
This post will play a vital role in one of the strongest departments within the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths throughout the school from years 4 to 8. The ability to teach Maths to Key Stage 4 is highly desirable. We are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of best practice in the teaching of Maths across more than one key stage. Instilling a sense of curiosity in our pupils is essential as is the ability to inspire pupils to achieve in the classroom. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation, prioritisation, ICT and communication skills.
The role would suit an experienced teacher or somebody new to the profession. NQT’s and Maths graduates will be considered.

Cheam was founded in 1645 and is one of the oldest prep schools in the world. Cheam is a IAPS boarding and day school with some 310 pupils, boys and girls, in the prep school and approximately 80 in the Pre-Prep and Nursery. Cheam prides itself on its excellent all-round record academically, musically, artistically and on the sports field.
