Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated individual to teach Maths in a unique independent hospital school that was rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted in May 2024.
Brighton and Hove Clinic School is based on the same site as Brighton and Hove Clinic, a specialist eating disorder service for young people aged 11-18.
Our hospital school offers a highly personalised full-time curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 so that students can continue to study the subjects chosen at their home school or college.
With a maximum of 16 students on roll at any time, class sizes are small, allowing you to plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and interests.
You will be joining a small, well qualified, specialist team who work closely with hospital colleagues to make an enormous difference to young peoples’ lives.
With an additional five schools within Elysium Children and Education, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with subject specialists across the organisation, allowing you to contribute to and enhance your own professional practice.
The successful candidate will have expert subject knowledge and must be able to teach all Key Stages, including GCSE and A Level.
The ability to teach an additional subject would also be an advantage.
This is a highly rewarding and versatile role, offering an exceptional opportunity for a fully qualified and aspirational teacher who is dedicated to delivering an outstanding Maths curriculum to our students.
Benefits
