Permanent, part time – Monday to Friday, 11.45am – 1.15pm

(7.5 hours per week)

38 weeks per year (term time only)

SCP2: equating to £3,799 per annum

We are a part of the Frank Field Education Trust and work collaboratively with others in our FFET family, allowing our students and staff many opportunities to develop themselves. This is embodied in the FFET vision: ‘Social Justice through Excellence in Education’ and in the College’s motto: ‘Aspire not to have more but to be more’.

Handforth Grange Primary School is looking to appoint a Midday Assistant on a part-time basis, to join our dedicated staff, who will take care and control of the school’s pupils on the school premises during the midday break, between the morning and afternoon teaching sessions. The post holder will maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of the school’s pupils, and provide them with assistance during these break times.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working within a busy environment, remaining calm under pressure. 

You should possess the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues and parents / carers. You must be computer literate, organised and ideally have at least five GCSEs, including Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications). 

All staff play a vital role in helping us to ensure our students receive a world-class education, thereby enabling each child to reach their full potential.
