This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic colleague to join our vibrant and successful school. 

We are looking to appoint a committed individual to supervise student lunch time at Hampstead School. As a Midday Meal Supervisor you will have a friendly, but professional approach, fantastic customer service, a positive attitude and a passion to make a difference to the lives of our pupils. As a Midday Meal Supervisor, you will assist the catering team and teachers on lunch duty in the running of our student lunch service. 


Working hours: The daily working hours are 13:15 – 14:45. Please note that as per custom and practice and Hampstead school, lunch time is moved during the summer exam period to accommodate exam timetables. During this period, we’d appreciate midday meal supervisors to be flexible and adjust their working hours accordingly (from 1200-1330 or 1215-13:45).


Hours per week: 7.5 hours per week

Weeks per year : 38 weeks


Closing Date: Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at 9.00am 

Date for Interviews: Monday 27th January 2025


Please note that School meals service employees are entitled to a small retention payment at the start of each new academic year if they return to work after the summer holiday break. This retainer fee is payable at the rate of three weeks of the employee’s normal weekly salary.

Hampstead School is Camden’s largest maintained comprehensive School, educating 1330 students (including 300 in our stand-alone Sixth Form). The school is oversubscribed with a waiting list in all years, admitting 7 forms of entry from over 70 primary schools.
