We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our successful Pastoral and Safeguarding Team. This is a new role which will involve supporting, in an administrative capacity, the teams dealing with our students’ welfare, behaviour and successful transition to the next stage in their educational journey. If you are a reliable and experienced office administrator, have experience of school behaviour, safeguarding and recording systems (or are willing to retrain) with a passion for helping students and staff, then we would love to hear from you.
This is a truly exceptional opportunity for a talented colleague.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:
- Organise and take charge of students’ information and records.
- Have an oversight of the Pastoral Team’s meetings and help with the organisation and administration surrounding those meetings.
- Support the Deputy Headteacher with admissions.
- Support the Head of Year 7 and Year 11 with the transition process.
- Ensure that the Pastoral Leads have the data and paperwork required in a timely fashion for Governors meetings and presentations.
- Manage paperwork relating to behaviour incidents to ensure we fulfil our statutory obligations.
- Offer comprehensive office administration support to the Pastoral Team.
You are likely to be someone who:
- Enjoys working with people, is confident and self-assured.
- Has experience of an administrative role within the education sector.
- Is ambitious for our students and thrives in an aspirational culture.
- Has excellent office administration skills, using Microsoft packages, Arbor and Outlook.
- Will embrace our highly supportive, professional approach to school improvement.
Wadham School can offer you:
- The chance to be a part of an exciting educational journey alongside highly regarded professionals.
- Hours that could suit a good working balance, with a term time only post.
- The opportunity to work with exceptional colleagues and wonderful young people and their families with a strong and supportive leadership, who place value on learning beyond the classroom.
- Fulfilment, in knowing that you matter, and the work you do makes a positive difference to the lives you touch.
- Access to training to develop your CPD through TES Educare.
- Voluntary pension scheme with Somerset Council.
Visits to the school or an informal talk with the Headteacher are warmly encouraged. For all enquires please contact Lorrie Mahoney on LMahoney@wadhamschool.co.uk or telephone 01460 270127.
