Since becoming an academy in September 2009, Kettering Buccleuch Academy has seen many exciting changes. We are an all-through academy catering for students aged 4-18. We moved into our new, purpose-built building in January 2013. The academy continues to go from strength to strength, with happy and motivated staff, a supportive culture and plenty of opportunities for personal growth with our excellent staff CPD offer. The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our successful academy, from January 2025. We are looking for someone who is committed, innovative and solutions focused. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with extra-curricular activities as well as numerous CPD opportunities both within the department and externally. A passion for shaping the lives of students is a must as well as a keen desire to continuously develop subject knowledge and pedagogy. You will be well supported by a friendly and knowledgeable team and a fully resourced department.

 

About You

You will have Qualified Teacher Status and are a strong classroom practitioner who motivates and inspires students with your passion for teaching. You have the ability to achieve success within a primary school setting and are able to deliver exemplary lessons that build on pupils’ knowledge. You will have good interpersonal skills, sound behaviour management skills and have the highest expectations of yourself and our students.

Kettering Buccleuch Academy is a co-educational academy open to students aged 4 –19. We offer a well-rounded education to children from the northern area of Kettering and its surrounding villages.  We welcome students of all abilities and all backgrounds, and our academy is free of charge to attend.
