As a progress tutor you will be the first point of contact for students and parents / carers. You will deliver pre-planned Aspire tutorials designed to support personal development. You will liaise with appropriate staff in order to monitor attendance, behaviour and commitment implementing intervention where necessary. Where there are patterns emerging, you will communicate concerns and commendations to students, parents/ carers via email, phone calls and meetings as appropriate.

You will support students to apply to university via UCAS and will support others in their applications to apprenticeships and employment. It is therefore vital that you are confidently articulate in both spoken and written communication.

We are committed to equal opportunities and safeguarding young people and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate will be required for all posts.
