Livingstone Academy Bournemouth (LAB) is an innovative new school for children aged 4 to 18 which opened in September 2021 in the heart of Bournemouth. Our ambition is to ensure that all young people leave school equipped with the skills and knowledge to thrive in their future lives and careers in the digital age. Young people must be creative, critical thinkers who can create technology as well as consume it.
LAB is going into its 4th year in a new building complex in Lansdowne in Central Bournemouth serving Reception, Years 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 with 810 students. At capacity, we will have 1510 students, serving ages from 4 to 18.
The successful candidate:
We are looking to recruit an exceptional candidate to the role of Pupil Support Manager to join our outstanding team at Livingstone Academy.
The successful candidate will work closely with the safeguarding, inclusion and pastoral team. The Pupil Support Manager will play a pivotal role embedding the safeguarding and behaviour policies to work with identified pupils and their families to increase levels of engagement and ensure that the school’s core values are embodied by pupils consistently. Ultimately, we are looking for a committed candidate with an uncompromising belief that all students deserve an outstanding education. They will uphold our inclusive ethos and provide opportunities for all students to achieve.

The Pupil Support Manager will play a key part in supporting students and staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (0.856 FTE)
Working times: Monday-Friday 8.00am – 4:00pm, with a 30 min break each day.
