Salary: Support Band 5 £26,777 - £28,686 (actual £12,578 - £16,843 pro rata)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing and Finance Assistant at Undershaw Specialist School in Hindhead. We are looking for someone who can provide support to the school in the procurement of goods and services ensuring that the schools financial procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar position within a school environment and be proficient in Microsoft products. Attention to detail, organisational skills and good communication are a must for this role.
Skills required:
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Previous experience of financial management software
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to think creatively and problem solve.
• A great team player with a flexible “can-do” attitude
• Understanding or an interest in Special Needs Education and Disabilities
