This is an exciting and challenging role within our school and the successful applicant will have patience, a sense of humour and an ability to relate positively to young people, providing smooth and efficient running of the school’s reception and routine general administrative support to the school to cover for maternity leave until October 2025.
You will be expected to manage the very busy school reception area and community entrance, answering general telephone and face-to-face enquiries, meeting and greeting all visitors to school in a professional manner, controlling the signing in system and ensuring efficient communication links for parents/carers, staff and other interested parties. Full training will be given in a wide variety of matters including contact with pupils, staff and parents/carers and extensive use of SIMS and related software. A good level of literacy, numeracy and ICT and an understanding of safeguarding are essential.
We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with outstanding facilities, a state-of-the-art learning environment; we are extremely popular and oversubscribed. The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield and the surrounding district.

About Titus Salt
Titus Salt School is a mixed non-denominational community school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Baildon, West Yorkshire, and was formerly known as Salt Grammar School.
The school was founded in 1896 by the politician and philanthropist Sir Titus Salt, and has about 1,500 pupils. It was originally on a different site, and used to be segregated into male and female divisions. It moved to a new building, constructed under the Building Schools for the Future programme, in 2008.
