Receptionist/Technician - Hairdressing & Beauty

Are you an experienced customer service professional looking for your next role? Southport College is looking for a Receptionist/Technician to provide outstanding technician and reception support to our beauty therapy and hairdressing section.

Working within the department of Skills, Trades and Foundation Learning, you will undertake a range of responsibilities including booking appointments, maintaining client records and meeting and greeting customers. In addition to your reception duties, you will also be responsible for dispensing, stock taking, laundry and cleanliness of the salons, as well as ensuring salons are fully stocked prior to each lesson.

You will possess a flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work alone and as a co-operative and supportive member of a team. You will also need previous experience in a reception-based role, along with strong customer care skills and experience. Excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role, as you will be liaising with external companies, cross-college departments and other staff and students.
