Appleford is one of the country’s leading independent co-educational day and boarding schools for pupils from 7 to 18 years, set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside in the village of Shrewton, just off the A303. Rated ‘Excellent’ by ISI in all categories, the school has been providing the highest quality teaching for pupils with dyslexia for over 30 years.

Appleford has well-resourced and supported small classes of up to 9 delightful pupils and an ethos based on developing confidence, celebrating success and continuous support – for both pupils and staff. More importantly, we instil a belief in our children that dyslexia is no barrier to learning and we expect them to do well. GCSE attainment for our pupils regularly exceeds national mainstream averages.
