An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional, hard-working and experienced Business Manager to lead the business and finance functions of the school. The successful candidate will shape this new role and make it their own, promoting the highest standards of financial, business and operations management. 

 The King David High School is a high performing academy based in Manchester (M8). If you have experience as a School Business Manager and are seeking a new challenge or an experienced Business Manager who has held a similar post within an education setting we would be delighted to hear from you.

This role is focused on finance management, human resources, site and facilities management and other administrative areas. The role will include provision of key financial information to the Finance Committee, budget planning, controlling costs and reducing when necessary, building relationships with suppliers and contractors to source the best value for money and oversight of areas such as staff payroll and school service contracts. The successful candidate will form part of the school’s senior leadership team.

 The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Finance and Business management and experience within a school environment.

The King David High School, situated in Crumpsall, Manchester, Lancashire, is a secondary coeducational school. It is an academy that educates children between the ages of 11 and 18. Its denomination is Jewish. At present, there are approximately 780 students on the roll. There are also 200 pupils enrolled in sixth form.
