Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company (“the MAC”) was formed in April 2021 and currently comprises of 12 Catholic Primary Schools and 2 Catholic Secondary Schools across the Birmingham, Solihull, and Warwickshire areas.

John Henry Newman Catholic College is an oversubscribed and high performing 11-19 College.

The College serves an area of high economic deprivation and the learning community of governors, staff and students thrives on the opportunity to truly make a positive difference to the young people we serve.

The successful candidate will:

  • Give strategic vision and leadership to all aspects of Budget, Finance and Operations.
  • Operate and maintain the financial procedures and systems of the school, in cooperation with the Leadership Group and Governors and the MAC, ensuring that legal and safety requirements with regard to people and property and function of the school are maintained.
  • Lead and advise the Governors and the Principal on matters relating to premises, finance, operations and Health & Safety.
  • Advise the Principal on all matters relating to their collective responsibility for prudent financial management of the College, and other related activity
  • Deputise for the Principal as required in relevant fields of expertise.
  • Offer strategic contribution to the overall development of the College.
  • Ensure that the Academy is compliant with all adopted policies and procedures.
  • Provide oversight to SLT of effective administration systems throughout the College.
  • Support the school in promoting safeguarding and welfare, being specifically responsible for the children, young people and vulnerable adults they are responsible for, or comes into contact with.
  • Be committed to promoting the Catholic ethos of our school.
