School Inclusion Specialist-Grand Cayman
Salary:CI$57,192 - CI$74,772 per annum
The school inclusion specialist facilitates and delivers appropriate interventions for students with identified learning, social, emotional and behavioral issues. Such interventions will not only support individual teachers but will support schools in ensuring that the teaching and learning opportunities offered within the mainstream education system provide all students with the opportunity to reach their maximum potential.
*Required qualifications and experience include the following:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in education or Special Education including social, emotional behavior difficulties from a recognized institution. is required;
- Professional teaching qualification from a recognized institution/authority required
- Be a qualified teacher with a minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience
- Have strong record of achievement in working with students with significant learning and behavioral challenges
- Excellent ICT integration skills
- Hold a valid driving license (necessary for School Inclusion Specialists working at the primary level)
- Be committed to professional development
The remuneration package for the successful candidate is offered without deductions. The Cayman Islands Government provides an additional 12% pension contribution and 100% health insurance coverage for the employee and their dependents.
