Considering relocation?

Cheshire is a wonderful county in which to live and work. If you're considering relocating for a teaching or leadership role at The Winsford Academy do contact us to enquire about our generous relocation allowance.

How to apply

We ask all applicants to apply through Face-Ed; our recruitment software. This enables us to efficiently carry out our safer recruitment checks, but we recognise it can take some time for the applicant. The good news is, you will only need to register for Face-Ed once to apply for any role in the Fallibroome Trust's 10 schools.

Our top tips for a painless process are as follows:

  1. Because Face-Ed is cloud based software, it is possible for you to experience a break in connection and you won't necessarily know about it straight away. We therefore strongly recommend that you prepare your main application content in a different package like MS Word/Notepad and copy and paste it into your Face-Ed application form in the relevant sections.
  2. If you get a message saying "Validation Error" it isn't a software fault. It means you have entered data in a format that wasn't expected and it is causing a problem with saving. This might mean you have entered words in a box that expects numbers, for example.

Based in Winsford, Cheshire, the Winsford Academy is an 11 to 16 co-educational comprehensive school, which has recently been oversubscribed.

The staff at Winsford Academy are at the forefront of transforming young lives. The socio-economic context of the school places it in the 5th quintile for deprivation on entry and levels of SEN are also significantly higher than average.

With such meaningful work, we know how important it is that our staff are well supported and have the professional development, technology and systems they need to thrive from day one in school, as well as a warm welcome and 'family friendly' ethos.
