Secondary Science Teacher

BSV is seeking an exceptional Secondary Science Teacher to join our talented team. Reporting to the Headmaster, you will be part of a committed and collaborative team responsible for shaping the school's academic direction. We welcome applications from outstanding, self-motivated, and reflective professionals. We are looking for a blend of energy, enthusiasm, experience, and a passion for teaching and learning that embraces innovation while ensuring consistency and continuity. Flexibility and a positive attitude will be crucial as we expand our secondary classes.

Successful candidates will need:

  • A B.Ed or subject-related degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of proven experience teaching Science within the National Curriculum of England
  • The ability to share best practices and foster a collaborative environment
  • Interest in career growth and professional development
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach in and out of the classroom
  • Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to engage with students and parents

Fluency in English is essential, and applications from native-level speakers are preferred.

The school has been designed to hold approximately 350 pupils and will eventually cater for children from the age of 2 years old (Pre-Nursery), through to 18 years old (Year 13).  It currently offers places to children between the ages of 2 and 16 years old.  As these pupils progress through their academic journey, the school will expand to cater for pupils up to 18 years old.
