Warwick Academy is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and an accredited Council of International Schools (CIS) member school catering to students from Reception Year through to Year 13. The school offers an Early Years Programme, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and UK National Curriculum from Years 1 to 9, the IGCSE in Year 10 & 11 and the IB Diploma Programme, IB Individual Subjects and IB Career-related Programme (using BTEC subjects) in Year 12 & 13. In addition, the school has vibrant Music, Drama, Sport and Community Service programmes and offers a variety of additional co-curriculars.

  • Applicants should hold an appropriate Bachelors or Masters degree in the relevant subject, and a teaching qualification (PGCE or B.Ed or equivalent) at the appropriate level for the post.
  • At least 3 years’ teaching experience, in the relevant educational programmes offered at Warwick Academy - the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE/GCSE, and the International Baccalaureate Higher & Standard Levels.
  • Proven success at IB and IGCSE external examinations is needed.
  • Applicants must be prepared to contribute to the school’s extensive co-curricular programme and the pastoral pillar.
  • It is expected that the successful candidates must able to relate positively to students, staff, and parents and have well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a highly motivated team of teachers


Successful applicants will be subject to a police criminal check, SCARS training, and must hold or meet the requirements for the Bermuda Educators Council (BEC) Teacher’s License.

Warwick Academy, Bermuda is a thriving independent, selective, co-educational International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and an accredited CIS School catering to students from Reception Year through to Year 13 (ages 4-18). The school offers an Early Years programme (IEYC) in the Reception Year, a fusion of the UK National Curriculum and IPC from Year 1 to Year 9, IGCSE/GCSE examinations in Year 11 and the IB Diploma Programme (DP), IB Career-related Programme (CP) using BTEC subjects and the IB Individual Subjects in the Sixth Form. In addition the school has vibrant Music, Drama, Sport and Community Service programmes and offers a variety of other co-curriculars. At present the school consists of some 850 students and 120 staff.
