About the Role
As our SENDCo, you will be at the forefront of ensuring inclusive education, leading SEND provision, and collaborating with teachers, families, and external agencies. This role provides the opportunity to make a tangible impact on children’s lives while furthering your professional development within a supportive school community.

About Heathland School
Heathland School is a primary school and nursery for nearly 700 pupils aged 3 to 11 that opened in September 2009. Our school was judged to be ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED in 2010 and again in 2014. Our positive and professional staff team continuously strive to find engaging and innovative ways to help our children learn and develop as individuals. We build close partnerships with families and celebrate success together. Our school is a strong family where expectations are high, values are positive, forgiveness is abundant and children are treasured. We believe that anyone can learn anything and the growth mindset underpins everything we do.
We are part of a federation with Whitefriars School and we are expanding there so we can offer specialist subject teaching to primary pupils from both our schools as well as an outstanding secondary and sixth form education! Our schools are both converter academies in a thriving multi-school trust.
