Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Service Supervisor to join our Catering Team. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of hospitality and food service and have experience of working in a customer-focused environment. Good organisational and planning skills along with excellent communication skills will be essential.

You will be professional in your approach with a friendly can-do attitude. You will be a team player as well as having the ability to supervise a small team.

An NVQ Level 2 in Food and Beverage Service and experience of working within a school environment would be desirable, although full training will be given.

As well as serving three meals a day for pupils and staff the front of house team deliver annual House Dinners, the Leavers’ Balls and a variety of other functions and lettings. There is a daily tuck shop, match teas and café service on a regular basis.

This position involves working an average of 40 hours a week on a rota basis including evenings and weekends, for 52 weeks of the year. The post attracts an annual salary of £26,720.

Term Time (33 weeks) plus working would be considered for the right candidate and can be discussed in more detail at interview.

Framlingham College is a boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 3-18 which offers flexible and full boarding options.
