The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and hard-working Sixth Form Business Support Administrator to join our dedicated team at Sixth Form – Ashton on Mersey School. The core purpose of the role is to work alongside the Assistant Headteacher Key Stage 5 and the wider sixth form team to provide high-quality, efficient and effective administration/reception support as part of the sixth form administration team. 

As administrative lead for the sixth form, the post holder will be the primary point of contact for all student and parent-related enquiries, providing a professional and knowledgeable service on a wide range of post-16 student support. The role demands attention to detail and strong communication skills, ensuring an excellent support service is provided while maintaining confidentiality at all times.

We are looking for an individual who possesses:

  • GCSE Grade A*-C (9-4) in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
  • Working in a fast-paced office environment in an administrative capacity
  • Experience in managing own workload, monitoring performance and ensuring optimum use of resources and systems available.
  •  Undertaking a range of clerical and administrative duties, including data input and retrieval
  •  Good use of IT systems with an excellent working knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills
  •  Ability to work to deadlines with excellent attention to detail and accuracy levels
  • Managing a diverse and varied workload, regularly prioritising workload and conflicting priorities
