Cambridge International School (CIS) in Bratislava, Slovakia, is seeking to appoint a SEN Coordinator to join a growing, dedicated and outstanding team of educators within a highly supportive and values-driven international school. This is a role which would involve working with children from the age of 6 to 18 and leading a SEN department from the new academic year 2025/26 with the start date to begin on 20th August 2025.

DESIRED CANDIDATE
- UK or similarly qualified SEN Teacher with a recognized teaching qualification and managerial experience.
- Experience and preferably further qualifications in the support of students with mild to moderate special needs.
- Experience of supporting students either in the UK, or in an English medium school elsewhere.
- Organizational skills, initiative, flexibility, independence, and a strong belief in a child-centered approach to education along with a warm, friendly, happy disposition are sought.
- Experience in administrating diagnostic tools such as LUCID Rapid, Exact with a range of diagnostic and standardized assessment tools.
- Familiarity with administering, interpretating and making recommendations for students learning using standardized tests such as INCAS, GL Progress Tests, CAT4 and ALIS.

Initial contracts will be for a two-year fixed term, one year by agreement, with the possibility of future renewal by mutual agreement. As with most quality schools, we have a three month probationary period, details of which are clearly explained in employment contracts. CIS provides a full schooling programme for 6 to 18 year olds with the university entrance qualification of Cambridge Advance Levels for the older students.
