Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the drive to foster a positive and safe environment where students can thrive? If so, KGV Sixth Form College offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as Student Liaison Officer.

In this key role, you will be at the heart of our college community, working closely with students to ensure they meet the highest standards of behaviour. You will be expected to maintain a highly visible and approachable presence throughout the campus, with a particular focus on safeguarding the wellbeing of all students.  Whether inside or outside the classroom, you’ll build strong, positive relationships with students, serving as a role model and guiding them to uphold these standards.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is approachable yet firm, a person who can connect with students while maintaining fairness and upholding our core values. You should have recent experience working with young people aged 16-19 in an advisory, guidance, or pastoral capacity. A strong commitment to supporting young people and a deep understanding of the challenges they face is crucial, as is the ability to motivate and inspire students with diverse abilities and needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with an awareness of safeguarding practices and the ability to take a key role in promoting the health and welfare of young people.
