Treloar’s is a charity which runs one of the UK’s largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspiraions


We are excited to be adding a Student Progress Coordinator to our outstanding student support team. You will be the main point of contact for families and Local Authorities, chair weekly multi-disciplinary Team meetings ensuring students are making progress towards their EHCP outcomes and support students to make informed decisions regarding their future pathways.


This role will require, decision making, managing difficult conversations and with the ability to positive influence others; empowering them to take ownership of their decisions, while aligning to the values and ethos of Treloar’s.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Grades A-C GCSE in Maths and English or equivalently educated to level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience working with and leading multidisciplinary teams
  • The ability to mentor, support and inspire children and/or young adults
  •  An understanding of how to successfully chair meetings and/or lead meetings, while monitoring objectives and outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Local Authority Structures and ways of working
  • A willingness to deliver sessions to groups of students
  • The confidence and ability to maintain professional relationships, while representing Treloar’s across all social and professional levels
  • Diplomacy and sensitivity, across a broad range of subjects
  • A level of flexibility with working schedule
