Joining the Student Services team means you can make a real difference with the ability to drive the role in a direction which interests you. By working closely with key teams throughout Long Road Sixth Form College, including our enthusiastic Student Care, Guidance and Progression, and Admissions teams you will be an integral part of the Student Services team.
You will provide excellent customer service, professional front-line helpdesk and reception service, and a broad range of administrative support to ensure a great experience for our staff, pupils and parents. You will undertake a variety of student administration duties, answer in-person, phone and email enquiries, some PA work and general College administration as required, as well as contribute ideas towards departmental projects and support college wide events.
You will need excellent administrative and customer service skills, the ability to produce and develop clear, concise, accurate data, and you will be adaptable, flexible, and enthusiastic. This post is for full time (37 hours per week) on a permanent, term-time only (plus 5 days usually taken in August) basis. Due to the requirements of the reception opening hours, preferred hours will be 8:00am – 4:00pm.

Long Road is a thriving, successful post 16 Sixth Form College with 2,400 students on roll, in post-16 studies. Conveniently located close to the M11 and A14, within easy reach of several areas of outstanding natural beauty and the Norfolk Suffolk coast, the college is set next to the Biomedical Campus in its own attractive grounds in the beautiful, thriving and expanding Bio/Technical city of Cambridge.
