There are three camps: two 1-week camps and one 2-week camp. Further details from last year can be found at https://www.need-japan.com/en/jinis-camp-2024. - Return economy airfare and/or train fare from the teacher's place of origin to Jinseki via Hiroshima or Fukuyama.
- On-site accommodation for the duration of their contract and food during the camps. (Teachers contracted to teach both the second and third camps are free to travel within Japan during the week between the two.)
In specific circumstances, JINIS may be able to accommodate a teacher’s partner and small family, and applicants should indicate whether they would require this
JINIS is seeking applicants whose first language is English and with:
- A relevant teaching qualification (degree, teaching certification, ELT qualification)
- A lively, communicative but professional pedagogical approach
- Experience of teaching young children (some with little English)
- Teaching experience ideally in an international setting and possibly in a Summer Camp
- Readiness to work hard and become involved in the activities and broader life of the camp
Jinseki is committed to the highest standards of safeguarding and candidates will be expected to provide evidence of their suitability to work with children.
