We are looking for a dedicated, inspiring teacher, with a love of learning, to join our teaching team. The successful candidate will share our values and ethos, our passion for primary teaching, and our commitment to provide the best possible education for every child in our community. This full-time role will involve working across Key Stage 1 and 2, split between supporting class teachers by working with groups and whole class teaching.

At Hawley Primary School we actively look for a diverse staff team. We value the diversity of thought, insights, innovation and creativity that this brings to our learning community and to our pupils. We are committed to our anti-racist strategy, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where everyone wants to work, remain and progress, irrespective of race, gender, disability or religion.

We are looking for someone who wants to join a school with a carefully designed, enriched curriculum and who will think deeply about how to bring this to life in the classroom, using their individual strengths and those of our pupils.

 At Hawley, we have:

  • a socially and ethnically diverse inclusive school community in which no child is left behind;
  • pupils who are excited to learn, who are informed about the world, and who feel safe and ready to progress;
  • a teaching culture characterised by collaboration, innovation, creativity and continuous learning;
  • a team approach in which there are high levels of trust;
  • a newly constructed school building filled with light and space;
  • a commitment to enrichment, including specialist music and PE teachers, and a wide variety of trips and residentials, which deepen children’s knowledge;
  • well established partnerships with Camden Learning and wider networks;
  • an engaged whole school community with many traditions and special events;
  • an experienced leadership team who are dedicated to the development and progression of their staff and pupils;
  • very good public transport links moments away – Camden Station on the Northern Line and a short walk to Camden Road Overground, as well as local buses into central London.
