Actual Salary £31,650- £49,084 plus SEN Allowance £2,679, TLR2B £5,646

We are seeking an enthusiastic Leader of Maths to join our dedicated team at Redwood School.

Redwood is an exceptional generic special school. With 346 learners, educated across multiple sites and served by a staff approaching 200, it is one of the largest 11-19 schools of its type. A tour around Redwood brings you into contact with such a broad and diverse range of young people; they are all unique, very important, and at the centre of our school. It is an exciting time for Redwood; demand for places is high and further expansion is likely!

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead on our specialist Maths offer, ensuring that the curriculum and provision meets the needs of all our learners. This applies to all of our pathways, from our Pre-Formal learners right through to those able to access Maths GCSE. You will lead on the development of the curriculum and SEND provision, ensuring continuous improvements with teaching and learning. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our incredible and diverse children and young people.
