Teacher of Ballet and Legat Associates (Legat Dance Academy)

Required for October 2024 at our thriving independent school: an exceptional Teacher of Bede’s Legat Dance Academy who has the ability to deliver outstanding Ballet teaching, in line with the Academy’s vision. This is an exciting opportunity for a person with teaching experience, ambition and drive, to cultivate a vibrant learning environment for all pupils who will be motivated to pursue their individual best. The Teacher of Ballet will be passionate about Dance and determined to achieve the highest standards of Dance training. You will be as passionate about inspiring a joy and love of Ballet in pupils who have ambitions to take up a place in a Conservatoire as those for whom the art form is a source of creative enrichment.

The post holder will enjoy working within our highly experienced team of teachers and will support the Head of Legat in shaping and delivering the artistic programme and future success of the Academy, ensuring that each pupil receives positive encouragement to develop their potential to the full, according to the stated aims of the school.

This is a part-time role. The exact number of hours and timings can be discussed and will depend on your experience, your availability and the structure of our school day. We envisage that the successful candidate will be able to offer between 10 and 24 hours per week.

The hourly rate will be £23.56 plus holiday pay for Legat and £31.23 per hour for our Legat Associates Programme on Saturdays.
