Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Geography to join a High School based in Greenwich.
Hours: Part Time 51%
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and passionate Geography Teacher to join a thriving and successful Geography Department within an exceptional school, with excellent facilities.
There is the opportunity to teach across the whole age range, up to and including A Level Geography. The ability to offer teaching within their Wollstonecraft Enrichment programme would be advantageous.
Students attain excellent examination results and Geography is a popular subject. The successful candidate will demonstrate equal passion for their subject and working with young students. Staff are expected to contribute to their co-curricular programme.
About the School
The High School is a selective school for girls aged 3–18 and was rated “excellent” in their most recent ISI Inspection (2014). They are fortunate to be located on the edge of the stunning Heath and within easy reach of historic Greenwich and Canary Wharf. Following an £18 million investment, their brand-new Senior School has been redeveloped to provide state-of-the-art facilities to ensure that their school environment matches the excellent standard of education they provide.
