We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced and passionate teacher to contribute to the development of the Quality of Education in our Mathematics department. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and proven classroom practitioner who can display a real passion for developing and inspiring the pupils in their care. 

The Mathematics department at Loreto achieve well above the national average securing 78% at 9-4 in the 2024 examinations. You will be joining a supportive and enthusiastic department whose priority is improving both their own practice and the outcomes for the students.

The successful candidate will be an experienced or outstanding qualified teacher with:

  • the ability to engage students and transmit an enthusiasm for Mathematics;
  • knowledge and understanding of current teaching and learning strategies in Mathematics;
  • the ability or potential to teach inspirational lessons to a range of abilities across both key stages;
  • an enthusiastic commitment to developing the school’s extra-curricular offering;
