You will be able to inspire students and enable them to learn and progress exceptionally well. We welcome applications from teachers who can deliver Spanish to GCSE, with the ability to teach any additional languages being advantageous, but not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to join our growing MFL departments. We offer an extensive and highly supportive programme for our Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and a diverse range of professional improvement opportunities for more experienced staff.

Poltair School is a transformational, fast paced school, serving students aged 11-16 in the St Austell area of Cornwall. We have exceptionally high expectations for all students and, as a result, our students have exemplary behaviour and attitudes, dress smartly and appreciate the importance of education.

The school is on a rapid improvement journey, and we are ambitious for what the students in our community can achieve. At the heart of this is the provision of a knowledge-rich curriculum and exceptional teaching and learning. We truly want our students to develop the confidence and character to make a significant contribution to society and lead a life of choice and opportunities.

The school is part of Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT), a family of primary and secondary schools all based in Cornwall. Due to the success of the Trust, there are unrivaled opportunities for all staff to grow and develop and to collaborate with talented school leaders.
