The Role

We are looking to appoint a part-time Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages who wants to join an experienced, supportive, committed faculty and make a real difference with our young people. A forward-thinking, dynamic teacher will only strengthen our existing team.


The ability to teach French is essential, and Italian is preferable.

 

The faculty is well-established, well-resourced, and highly supportive. The faculty work collaboratively, always putting the needs of our students at the forefront of what we do. We would love to show you round our department and our academy. Modern Foreign Languages is taught passionately across all year groups, from Year 7 through to Post 16 courses.

 

Results are on an upward trend, and we are driven to ensure this continues. This role offers you the opportunity to develop and excel as a teacher, within a strong and effective team of practitioners. The Ken Stimpson Academy is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire and there are 1020 pupils on its roll.

As a single site school it has very good facilities, some of which are shared with the local district library and recreational centre. The school also benefits from a two-court floodlit Astroturf area and extensive playing fields.
