Values and vision

The Harrow Way Community School vision is “Learning for Life, Success for All”. It aims to deliver a relevant and interesting curriculum that meets all needs. It provides its students with a range of opportunities, offers high-quality teaching, adopts a range of innovative learning styles, and makes sure that education is part of a lifelong journey.

Harrow Way is a specialist school in maths and computing, so is well-equipped for teaching the subjects. It believes that students should be able to access all aspects of both subjects in ways that will be beneficial to their life choices.

Ofsted report

“Attainment has continued to rise and is now in line with national averages. Progress in English and mathematics is good, with all groups making similar progress. Year 7 catch-up and pupil premium students are now doing as well as their peers. Students attending off-site provision make good progress as a result of their highly personalised courses. The curriculum is broad and balanced, and students’ literacy and information and communication technology skills are promoted well across the curriculum.”
