Teacher of PE – Maternity Cover 

Part time 0.5-0.6 - Required from January 2025 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays)

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of PE to join our hardworking, highly experienced and supportive PE Department.

The post provides an ideal opportunity for an individual, preferably with an interest in teaching a broad and varied PE curriculum, teaching mixed genders and across all ability levels and year groups. The school facilities include a purpose built Sports Hall, Gymnasium, Fitness Suite, outdoor courts and large playing fields.  

The PE department excel in offering a varied extra-curricular programme with active involvement in inter-school competitions, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of continuing growth of opportunities for our talented and enthusiastic students for both participation and student leadership.

Bungay High School Academy is a thriving and successful school situated in a pleasant rural area. We are 20 miles from Norwich and 15 miles from the delightful heritage coast. About Bungay High School

Bungay High School is a co-educational secondary school with academy status in Bungay, Suffolk. It caters for children aged 11-18.

The school, originally Bungay Grammar School, became Bungay High School in 1974. A range of academic and vocational and academic qualifications are offered in its sixth form.
