We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Physics to join our Science and Technology Faculty either on a full-time or part-time basis. All pupils take Physics at IGCSE and many go on to study the subject at A level. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Physics to IGCSE and A-Level pupils. The Physics Department enjoys excellent, well-equipped facilities and full support from dedicated technicians.
The post would be equally suitable for someone seeking a first appointment or an experienced teacher. A willingness to contribute to the School’s wide range of co-curricular activities is expected. Small teaching groups throughout the School are supported by the very latest technology and modern facilities including an extensive use of 1:1 digital learning.

King Edward’s is a school with a long and distinguished history and it has been at the heart of Southampton for over 460 years. The School has occupied 4 different sites, relocating to the purpose built site on Hill Lane in 1938. It became fully independent in 1979 and co-educational in 1994.
