We seek applications from those of the Catholic faith, all faiths and of no faith but who are supportive of our Christian values and ethos.

Required January 2025

We are seeking an enthusiastic and/or experienced Science teacher /ECT to teach across KS3 to KS5.

Suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT. We have a strong record of supporting ECT’s and have an active ECT cohort and support program.

Whether this is your first teaching role or you are looking for a new challenge, if you have the skills, approach and attributes to inspire pupils in developing a love of science and help them achieve and exceed their expectations in our bright and modern science classrooms in our excellent school this might be the role for you.

St Mary’s Catholic School is a founding member of the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust, established in September 2021. This post represents an ideal opportunity for an ambitious candidate to assume the leadership of a core subject area across all key stages.

Their legacy is St Mary’s Catholic School, and as we look to the future with high expectations for continued success, their vision continues to inspire us. This is expressed in our aspiration towards academic excellence founded on Gospel values. In practical terms this also means the best possible pastoral care and guidance and the challenge and support of a broad range of spiritual opportunities which permeate through all aspects of school life.
