FULL TIME DURING TERM TIME

Hampton Pre-Prep & Prep School is an independent preparatory school for boys aged 3 to 11 years and girls aged 3 to 7 years.

We are seeking a permanent, full time, term time only, Teaching Assistant and Librarian to join our to provide excellent support in the Prep across Years 3 to 6. 

Hampton Pre-Prep & Prep welcomes applications from colleagues working in both the state maintained and independent sectors.  We are looking to appoint an individual who has the necessary classroom skills and experience to ensure we achieve our goals of excellence.

The exact nature of the responsibilities we are looking for will be dependent upon the successful candidate’s expertise and will be discussed at interview and agreed at the point of offering the post. The overall responsibilities particular to this post are subject to general duties and responsibilities contained in the Contract of Employment and letter of appointment.

We are two form entry at Hampton Prep and the teaching assistant and pastoral responsibilities of this role will be to work flexibly with different year groups. Each class has between 18 or 19 pupils.

We follow the National Curriculum but as an independent school have the privileged freedom to enhance our curriculum offer as we see fit. 

The working hours for this role are 8.00am – 4.15pm (Monday – Friday) during term time.

The role is based at Hampton Prep and the salary will be negotiable and commensurate on skills  and experience. We operate an induction and mentoring programme for all colleagues new to the School.
