We are looking to appoint a committed professional to the role of Teaching Assistant at Twyford Church of England High School. Twyford Church of England High School, the founding school in the Twyford CE Academies Trust, is a secondary school for pupils aged 11-18 in Acton, West London. The school has an excellent reputation and is rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted (October 23). The Twyford CE Academies Trust is the top performing Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in the country for pupil progress.

Teaching Assistants are required to support EHCP students in Years 7-13.

All applications are welcome, however these roles may particularly suit graduates who are considering a career in teaching. Teach West London (the Teaching School Hub for the four boroughs of Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow) is part of Twyford CofE Academies Trust and we are therefore extremely experienced in supporting those who wish to enter into Initial Teaching Training (ITT).

Twyford CE High School, Acton

Twyford Church of England High School is the founding school of the Twyford CE Academies Trust which is the highest performing Trust in the UK. It has developed specialisms in Music and Modern Foreign Languages and a reputation for excellence which has made it heavily oversubscribed. Twyford has very strong Christian foundations and is rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted (October 2023) and SIAMS (April 2017). Twyford educates 1000 students in years 7-11 and consistently achieves outstanding GCSE results with a Progress 8 score of +1.26 in 2023 and +1.1 in 2024. The school has a large Sixth Form of over 600 students and offers a wide range of A-Levels with results so strong that they are always placed within the top 10% of schools nationally. Twyford CE Academies Trust
