An exciting opportunity has arisen at Carterhatch Junior School for a Teaching Assistant. In this role you will be supporting the class teacher working with the whole class, smaller groups or individual children to aid them in their learning, showing a good understanding of children’s needs. The ideal candidates must be flexible (as every day is different) adaptable and hard-working. You will need to be a well-organised person who can work independently and as part of a team and have the skills to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.   In line with recent legislation, applicants must have a command of spoken English that is sufficient to effectively carry out the duties of the role.
